Insecticide "Fufanon": advantages, exact dosages and frequency of treatments for different crops
Fufanon is a chemical agent, a popular modern insectoacaricide of continuous action. Passed state registration in the Russian Federation. It belongs to the group of organophosphorus compounds (FOS), is used in the agricultural industry, and is approved for use in private gardens.

Insectoacaricide is available in several forms. They differ in the proportion of the active substance and the volume:
- "Fufanon, KE" - emulsion concentrate, DV 570 g / l;
- Fufanon-Nova, water emulsion (VE), DV 440 g / l. Designed for private household plots;
- "Fufanon-Super", VE, DV 440 g / l, to combat synanthropic insects;
- Fufanon-Expert, VE, DV 440 g / l. Against rodents and sucking pests in agricultural and private household plots.
Instructions for use
One preventive spraying with "Fufanon" in the spring helps to reduce the risk of parasite breeding to a minimum. The garden should be sprayed with the drug at the first signs of planting damage. Even if you notice only one larva, it's time to arm yourself with an insecticide - many parasites multiply quickly and over the summer can destroy the entire crop, moving from one plant to another.
The concentrate from an ampoule, vial or bottle must be diluted with water before use. The concentration of the solution depends on the cultivated crop and the pest that has affected it. The universal proportion is 10 ml of substance per 10 liters of water.

How to prepare and use poison:
- Measure out the correct amount of concentrate.
- Dilute it with a little clean water. It is recommended to use warm water to better dissolve the concentrate.
- Then add the remaining water.
- Spray the insecticide on affected plants immediately after stirring with a garden spray bottle. Spray the plant on both sides and keep some of the greens untreated. So all the larvae invisible to the eye are destroyed.
It is forbidden to water the soil, the product is applied by spraying the growing part of the plants.
Use plastic container for gardening. You cannot take food containers!
Work is carried out in dry, calm weather, in the early morning or evening. The optimum temperature is 17–20 degrees Celsius. Heat and scorching sun increase the risk of rapid evaporation and inhalation of the drug by humans. Rainy weather is undesirable as the pesticide is water-soluble and its effectiveness is reduced by moisture.
Important: the garden is treated shortly before the buds bloom. It is better to re-dress the pests after harvesting the fruits. Emergency dressing can be done during flowering if 3-4 weeks are left before harvesting, otherwise the crop will be poisoned.
For the treatment of one indoor plant, 2-3 drops of "Fufanon" per glass of water are enough. Etching is carried out from the spray.
Fighting Sinanthropus
According to the description of the active substance, it is suitable for disinsection of buildings. Sinanthropic insects are those that live mainly next to humans.

The recommended interval of treatments is 21-28 days.
When treating premises with an insecticide, insulate personal belongings with foil or take them to another place. Keep children and animals away from the room during work.
Security measures
In order not to suffer from the use of a toxic agent, albeit of moderate danger, all work must be carried out strictly in a suit and mask, and they should last no more than 3 hours. At the same time, it is forbidden to take food and drinks, smoke, so that the vapors of the substance do not enter the oral cavity. At the end of the work, it is necessary to thoroughly wash clothes, process tools and take a shower. When spraying a room, after a couple of hours it is ventilated by opening the windows wide open.
Signs of administration by inhalation or swallowing "Fufanon":
- headache;
- dizziness;
- nausea;
- increased salivation;
- vomiting;
- convulsions.
If you are poisoned with insectoacaricide, immediately call an ambulance, go out into the fresh air, change your clothes, drink a solution of soda (2%). Without emergency medical care, organophosphate poisoning is fraught with death.
For direct contact with the substance, wash the skin with soap and water without rubbing it in.
In case of contact with eyes, open them wide and rinse with copious amounts of water. Signs of irritation: lacrimation, pupillary constriction.
It is forbidden to use "Fufanon" in the water protection zone! The maximum permissible location of the reservoir is 1.5 km, the source of water supply is up to 50 m.
The high degree of danger to bees obliges the gardener to notify the nearby apiaries about work with pesticides. During spraying with the Fufanon-Nova version, insects should not fly closer than 5 km. For the emulsion concentrate, the distance is 2 km, as it exudes a terrible smell and does not attract striped workers. Avoid dressing pests in the garden during flowering and fruiting, when bees flock to the scent of flowers.
The packaging must be disposed of by incineration in a place designated by the environmental authorities. It is forbidden to throw containers into water bodies - the substance is toxic to fish!
Observe storage conditions:
- in a dry room, temperature range from -20 to +25 degrees;
- without the access of children and animals;
- the working solution must be used immediately, it cannot be stored;
- the shelf life of an unopened package is 3 years.
What could go wrong?
The manufacturer recommends no more than two dressings per season, otherwise the pests will get used to the product and it becomes ineffective. An alternation of karbofos with another group of insecticides is required.
Analogs of "Fufanon":

- "Alatar" - contains cypermethrin and karbofos;
- Atlant;
- "Avidust".
Do not exceed the dosage recommended by the manufacturer, even if parasites have infested the dacha. Beneficial plantings may suffer from this: the insecticide is a mutagen. Getting the drug into the soil is something that any gardener should avoid when using such substances. They accumulate in the ground and degrade the quality of root and vegetable crops. Such products can be poisoned, especially if the spraying regulations have not been followed.
In rainy weather, work is prohibited not only because of the loss of the effectiveness of the solution, but also because of its getting into the soil with precipitation.
"Fufanon" and its analogs are often used by summer residents: the drug is economical, effective and reliable.
